California Butt Sniffer Calese Crowder Arrested Again

Repeat Offender Arrested for Alleged Public Lewd Behavior in Burbank

An individual with a troubling history of lewd conduct has been detained once again after being caught engaging in inappropriate behavior at a local pharmacy. The suspect, Calese Crowder, 38, was detained by authorities after employees reported his suspicious actions at a Walgreens in Burbank.

Crowder, who was on parole at the time, is facing a felony charge and is now held without bail. His recent arrest follows a previous incident in July, when he was taken into custody after loitering in the women’s section of a Nordstrom Rack. During that event, he was observed following a female shopper and crouching near her, engaging in alleged lewd conduct by sniffing her buttocks.

Police detained Crowder at the scene due to the suspicious nature of his behavior and ongoing history of similar offenses. Notably, he was released from custody after his July arrest despite the $100,000 bail set by officials.

His pattern of misconduct is documented, with videos capturing his actions circulating on social media. In August 2023, Crowder’s behavior was caught on video in a bookstore, where he was seen following and crouching near a woman, then engaging in similar lewd conduct. The footage went viral, sparking widespread attention.

When confronted, Crowder claimed he was tying his shoes, but the woman who recorded him argued that he appeared to be smelling her from behind. She also accused him of doing the same to another woman in the store, further emphasizing his repeated misconduct.

Crowder’s recurrent behavior underscores ongoing concerns about repeat offenders involved in public lewd acts, prompting discussions about monitoring and preventative measures to protect potential victims.
