In recent court filings, Aaron Phypers has claimed that his estranged wife, Denise Richards, never finalized the legal adoption of her 14-year-old daughter, Eloise, despite him signing adoption papers and raising her as his own for over nine years. According to the documents, Richards had him sign the adoption papers but failed to submit them, leaving him without legal custody.

Phypers emphasized that he views Eloise as his daughter by bond, describing the emotional pain caused by her lack of legal recognition. He criticized Richards for what he perceives as an imbalance in handling the matter and highlighted the deep bond he shares with Eloise, whom he describes as his own daughter on social media.

Eloise, who has a chromosome disorder, was adopted by Richards in 2011 when she was an infant. Phypers adopted her in 2019 after marrying Richards, a move he describes as an innate decision rather than a deliberation, expressing his love and connection to her. Richards, known for her role on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” also has two daughters, Sami and Lola, with her ex-husband Charlie Sheen.

The couple, who married in 2013, are now in a contentious divorce following their separation in July after six years of marriage. Recent legal actions include Richards seeking to have Phypers vacate their rental home due to eviction notices for unpaid rent. She also accused him and his family of damaging the property during their separation, and police were called earlier this month when Richards visited to retrieve her belongings, including her dogs.
