Hulk Hogan passed away at the age of 71, with recent reports suggesting his death was linked to medical malpractice. An occupational therapist present at Hogan’s home during his decline claimed that a surgeon may have severed his phrenic nerve during a recent operation, which controls the diaphragm—a vital muscle for breathing.

The claim was included in the police report following emergency responders’ response to Hogan’s Florida residence. Hogan’s daughter, Brooke Hogan, confirmed the report, indicating that Hogan stopped breathing but did not display signs of a typical cardiac arrest.

The therapist’s allegation states that Hogan’s phrenic nerve was severed in surgery, potentially explaining his breathing failure. Hogan’s wife, Sky Daily, reportedly was the first to notice he had stopped breathing. Hogan died on July 24, and he is survived by Daily, whom he married in 2023, along with his children Brooke and Nick Hogan.

Brooke Hogan hinted at possible medical malpractice on social media, suggesting that body camera footage could provide more clarity about her father’s death. She has publicly expressed doubt about the official cause, which was reported as a heart attack, citing Hulk’s history of leukemia and other health issues.

Brooke also offered to fund an autopsy, which she confirmed had been performed, though she declined to disclose further details. Hulk Hogan was laid to rest in early August, and his family continues to await further investigation updates, as authorities emphasize the ongoing process and communication with Hogan’s family.

Despite her questions, Brooke stated that foul play was not suspected but emphasized the complexity of her father’s medical history. She also highlighted her decision to grieve privately and referenced her recent beach trip with her husband and twins as her personal way to remember him.
