Arizona Influencer, 27, Killed in Front of Child During Road Rage Incident
Influencer Yarely Ashley Hermosillo Killed in Glendale Road-Rage Shooting
Yarely Ashley Hermosillo, a popular social media influencer, was shot and killed during a road-rage incident in Glendale, Arizona. She was 27 years old and was in the passenger seat of a vehicle with her 4-year-old son nearby when the shooting occurred.
The altercation started at a red light when two drivers argued, and one, Jesus Preciado Dousten, allegedly opened fire. A stray bullet penetrated Hermosillo’s vehicle through the passenger window, hitting her in the head, while her partner was driving beside her. She was rushed to the hospital but later died from her injuries.
Authorities arrested Dousten, 33, after discovering two handguns at his residence and charging him with second-degree murder. Glendale police explained that Dousten, driving a pickup, had engaged in a heated exchange before firing a round that tragically struck Hermosillo. Authorities said he was identified as the shooter.
The incident raised concerns about responsible gun ownership, with police emphasizing the importance of knowing where you’re aiming when firing a weapon, especially in densely populated areas.
Hermosillo was known for sharing lifestyle and cooking videos, gathering over 300,000 followers across social platforms. Her family and friends have established a GoFundMe for funeral expenses. Those who knew her described her as “a loving wife, devoted mother, and a bright soul” whose presence touched everyone around her.
“She leaves behind her husband and their young son, who are now facing an unimaginable loss,” her family shared. Her loved ones and online community mourn her passing, emphasizing her joy in motherhood and her innocence in the tragic event.
