Sophie Turner Recalls Unfortunate Kiss with Co-Star Kit Harington

Actress Sophie Turner admitted that kissing her former “Game of Thrones” co-star Kit Harington during filming of their upcoming Gothic horror film, “The Dreadful,” was a particularly unpleasant experience. She described it as worse than shooting a scene involving cockroaches, calling the moment “vile” and “bad.” Despite both actors being “retching” during the scene, they decided to proceed due to the quality of the script.

Turner reflected on their on-screen intimacy, noting that initially she was confused about the situation. “Kiss, kiss, sex, kiss, sex,” she recalled thinking when reviewing the script. It wasn’t until she realized their characters were supposed to be siblings that she considered the awkwardness. Interestingly, Harington, whom she played alongside as Sansa Stark and Jon Snow, respectively, thought the scene was “really f–king weird,” but agreed they had to do it.

The actors, who played half-siblings in the series, shared scenes that were shocking to Turner in real life. She commented, “It was such a good script that we had to do it,” despite the awkwardness. Turner’s experience was so negative that she compared the scene to an “incredibly bad” acting moment, “worse” than working with cockroaches.

During the interview, Turner also discussed a misinterpreted social interaction involving a celebrity couple. She waved at an actor she didn’t recognize, only to be told by his partner—an actress in her own right—to stop flirting. This incident allegedly contributed to the couple breaking off their engagement that very night. Fans speculate the pair involved might be Emma Roberts and Evan Peters.

Turner, who was previously married to Joe Jonas until 2024, keeps her children out of the public eye, similar to her ex-husband. She is now in a relationship with aristocrat Peregrine “Perry” Pearson.
