Fulham’s Jaw-Dropping Plan to Reclaim Joao Palhinha from Bayern Munich!
Fulham Considers Recalling Joao Palhinha Amid Struggles at Bayern Munich
Fulham is exploring the possibility of bringing back midfielder Joao Palhinha, who has struggled to find regular playing time since transferring to Bayern Munich for £48 million last year. Despite his desire to establish himself in Germany, Palhinha’s appearances have been limited, primarily due to injury and stiff competition.
The Portuguese international joined Fulham in 2022, scoring eight goals in 79 appearances. A potential move back to the Premier League is now on the table, with several clubs interested in a loan deal. However, his high salary demands could pose a challenge for suitors.
In his debut Bundesliga season, Palhinha made just seven starts and featured in 17 matches across all competitions, with no goals or assists. His limited impact was compounded by a two-month injury layoff. Although he remains eager to fight for a spot, Bayern is open to offers, and a return to Fulham could be a viable option.
The Bavarian club initially attempted to sign Palhinha on deadline day in 2023, but the move collapsed before he eventually joined Bayern later. Recently, he was part of Portugal’s national team that won the Nations League, though he only played a total of one minute in the semi-final and final.
Fulham has yet to make major signings this summer, but several players, including Willian and Carlos Vinicius, are set to leave when their contracts expire at the end of June.
Fulham are considering re-signing Bayern Munich midfielder Joao Palhinha.
Several Premier League clubs are interested in acquiring Palhinha, who is eager to return to top-flight football.
