Bethenny Frankel has publicly slammed the latest season of “And Just Like That,” expressing her strong disapproval of the show’s direction and its finale. She shared her unfiltered opinions on Instagram, calling the series the “worst show ever” and criticizing its forced storytelling. Frankel described the show as a “disaster in a 5-pound bag” that ultimately “explodes,” referencing its controversial toilet storyline in the finale.
She also took issue with the fashion choices and reimagined characters, particularly criticizing “goofy” Aidan Shaw, played by John Corbett, as well as Charlotte York (Kristin Davis) and her husband Harry Goldenblatt (Evan Handler), who faced personal health issues this season. Frankel remarked that the characters resemble “weird caricatures” and labeled the show as “bizarre” and “forced,” also criticizing its inclusion of “woke” storylines. She urged that the series should be put to rest, saying, “Put it in the back and shoot it.”
Her criticism follows the announcement that HBO Max would not renew the series for another season, after it concluded with its third and final season earlier this month. Frankel’s beef with the franchise dates back to Season 2, when she was referenced in a joke that she interpreted as a slight, indicating lingering frustrations with how she was portrayed. Her initial reaction to the Season 2 joke was, “When you’re off TV for years … AND JUST LIKE THAT … catty housewives are still talking about you.”
