Prince William and Kate Middleton Prepare for a New Home

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are set to move into a new residence with their three children later this year. Their current home, Adelaide Cottage near Windsor Castle, was their residence since 2022, close to their children’s school, Lambrook.

The family will relocate to an eight-bedroom property known as Forest Lodge, located within Windsor Great Park. Valued at approximately $21 million, the move is part of their desire for a fresh start. A source indicated that Windsor remains their preferred area, and the decision was partly influenced by their need to leave behind some difficult memories at Adelaide Cottage, especially following Middleton’s cancer remission earlier this year.

Details of the New Home

William and Middleton intend to fully finance the renovations themselves, with no public funding involved. The house, reportedly considered their “forever home,” is undergoing extensive upgrades, and it will not include live-in staff.
