Cincinnati Leaders Call for Prosecution of Man Who Used Racial Slur in Viral Street Brawl

Community Leaders Demand Charges for Assault During Cincinnati Brawl

In Ohio, local leaders are urging authorities to pursue criminal charges against a white man captured on video slapping a Black man and hurling racial slurs prior to the widespread violence in Cincinnati last month.

Ohio State Representative Cecil Thomas highlighted the severity of the incident, asserting, “The video shows a white man hitting a Black man in the face, igniting chaos.” He questioned the fairness of the investigation, suggesting possible bias and a lack of transparency in how the case has been handled.
