Small Plane Crashes into Parked Aircraft in Montana, Causes Massive Fireball
Small Plane Crashes at Montana Airport, Sparking Large Fire
Four individuals escaped unhurt when their small aircraft crash-landed at a Montana airport, colliding with parked planes and igniting a large blaze that produced towering smoke plumes.
The incident occurred around 2 p.m. when the pilot of a single-engine Socata TBM 700 turboprop lost control during landing at the Kalispell City Airport. The aircraft then collided with several parked planes, causing multiple fires.
Witnesses described the scene as chaotic, with thick black smoke covering the airport grounds. Video footage showed the fire spreading across a grassy area before being extinguished by firefighters.
Thankfully, all three passengers aboard the plane managed to exit the aircraft on their own after it finally came to a stop. Two of the passengers sustained minor injuries and received treatment at the site.
The flight was traveling from Pullman, Washington, when the accident occurred. The crash caused significant damage, including fires that affected multiple aircraft, leading to a major emergency response at the scene.
