Seth Blackstock with his father
Seth described his father as his hero and best friend, vowing to remember him daily.

In his tribute, Seth wrote, “No one else on Earth that I would want as my dad because no one can be half the man you were to me.” He shared a series of throwback photos, emphasizing his pride and love for his father. Brandon’s eldest son also posted nostalgic images, paying homage to his dad’s influence and spirit.

Brandon passed away after a three-year battle with melanoma, an aggressive form of skin cancer. He leaves behind four children—Savannah, Seth, River, 11, and Remington, 9—with Kelly Clarkson, his second wife. Clarkson has been “devastated” over his loss, especially for her children who are now mourning their father.

Sources reveal Clarkson, estranged from her own father, was deeply concerned about her kids’s relationship with Brandon. Despite their divorce, she prioritized her children’s bond with their father, believing they deserved a positive relationship. Clarkson continues to grieve her ex-husband while supporting her children through this difficult time.
