Doctor Loses License After Filmed Office Stalking and Sex Act Incident
Arkansas Doctor Loses License Following Public Sexual Behavior
A physician in Arkansas has had his medical license revoked after being caught on security footage engaging in inappropriate and sexual acts during work hours. The footage shows Dr. David Diffine walking through his office completely nude, aside from a baseball cap, and performing explicit acts in front of employees.
The Arkansas Medical Board initially suspended his license last year after reports of his misconduct surfaced, where he was seen forcing his employees to witness his behavior. Following a thorough investigation, including interviews with staff and colleagues, the board decided to revoke his license for five years, citing violations of medical practice standards and concerns over his mental health, with some suggesting possible sexual compulsive disorder.
During interviews, Diffine denied any knowledge of the video evidence or misconduct, claiming, “I don’t know anything about that at all.” Investigators alleged he used his position to influence and groom staff and patients into inappropriate sexual situations, despite his claims of promoting body positivity and nudism.
The case highlights ongoing concerns about workplace violence and misconduct, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding mechanisms for employees facing harassment or abuse. The medical board emphasized the need for proper evaluations before allowing him to return to practice, prioritizing patient and staff safety.
