Congresswoman Defends President Biden’s Mental Acuity

Texas Representative Jasmine Crockett has publicly affirmed her belief in President Joe Biden’s cognitive capabilities, stating that his mental sharpness surpasses that of former President Donald Trump. During a recent podcast, Crockett dismissed recent revelations about Biden’s health, emphasizing her personal observations that he appeared fully alert and capable.

“Even if you argue that Joe Biden might have some decline, his mental state is still far better than what we see in the current administration,” Crockett asserted on Katie Couric’s “Next Question” podcast. She expressed a wish for the country to judge its leaders consistently.

Crockett noted her close contact with Biden, comparing his mental state to her grandmother’s, who aged and slowed but remained mentally present. She argued, “I will take Biden over Trump anytime because I know Biden’s heart and his mental acuity is superior, especially since he surrounds himself with good people.”

She also reflected on the political turmoil following Biden’s debates last year, which led to questions about his health and ultimately his withdrawal from the presidential race. Recent investigations by Senate and House committees have reignited scrutiny over Biden’s mental fitness.

Despite concerns, Crockett maintains that her personal interactions and observations lead her to believe that Biden remains mentally competent and compassionate, distinguishing him from opponents and emphasizing her trust in his leadership and integrity.
