Israel’s Prime Minister Claims Capability to Strike All Iran Nuclear Sites

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has asserted that Israel is capable of attacking every one of Iran’s nuclear facilities, including the highly secure Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant, which is believed to be buried beneath a mountain.

Despite doubts from military experts about the feasibility of destroying such an underground site, Netanyahu assured that Israel “will achieve all our objectives” and has the capability to target all of Iran’s nuclear infrastructure.

He specifically mentioned that Israel can strike Fordow, a site noted for its complexity. Many analysts believe that Israel possesses bunker-busting bombs, though some suggest it may lack the heavier types needed to fully destroy Fordow. The U.S. is often seen as Israel’s closest ally in providing heavy bombing capabilities, but there is debate over whether even these powerful bombs can successfully eliminate the site.

The Israeli government has previously taken out several Iranian nuclear locations, including targets in Natanz and near Tehran and Isfahan, as part of its “Operation Rising Lion” airstrikes. Additionally, top Iranian scientists and military officials have been targeted.

The U.S. faces a critical decision regarding whether to intervene in the escalating conflict, with President Trump indicating he will make a final call within the next two weeks, largely depending on ongoing negotiations with Iran. Trump believes Iran is close to developing a nuclear weapon, a view shared by some Israeli officials. However, this assessment has faced skepticism, notably from some U.S. officials who argue Iran’s nuclear pursuits are peaceful.

Recent reports from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) highlighted concerns over Iran’s uranium enrichment levels but did not confirm efforts to develop nuclear weapons. Iran insists its enrichment activities are solely for peaceful purposes.
