Jesse Watters Says A-List Actor Insulted Him at Airport
Jesse Watters Recalls Alleged Confrontation with Shia LaBeouf at Airport
Jesse Watters, a host on Fox News, recently shared an incident dating back over five years, claiming that actor Shia LaBeouf verbally attacked him without cause at an airport. Watters recounted the story during a segment of Jesse Watters Primetime, while discussing LaBeouf’s role in a film that stars the actor.
Watters stated, “Shia LaBeouf told me to go eff myself at a Delta lounge a few years ago.” He sarcastically added, “Tell him I said hi. Will you do that for me?” The host indicated that LaBeouf cursed at him in front of his children and claimed he chose not to respond to the insult.
During the broadcast, playwright and director David Mamet responded with humor, suggesting the country should elect “philosopher kings and queens” instead of “volatile” actors. Watters agreed and joked about voting for such leaders, humorously mentioning he might donate to their campaigns if it were permitted.
Watters first spoke about his encounter with LaBeouf in 2019 on The Ingraham Angle, claiming the actor insulted him unprovoked in front of his children. The incident involved LaBeouf allegedly calling him “trash.”
Despite his claims, LaBeouf has not commented publicly on this specific incident. Recently, his ex-girlfriend, singer FKA Twigs, settled a lawsuit filed against him in 2020, in which she accused him of assault and emotional abuse during their relationship. LaBeouf denied all allegations and attributed her claims to self-defense in court documents.
