Denise Richards Displays Bruising Amid Ongoing Divorce Controversy

Actress Denise Richards was seen in Calabasas with noticeable bruising around her right eye and a scrape beneath her chin, sparking concerns about her well-being. She appeared subdued during her outing, dressed casually in a gray midi dress and navy trucker hat, carrying a large designer bag and water.

Sources suggest the bruising may be attributed to recent cosmetic procedures like PRP injections and micro-needling, which can cause temporary discoloration. No evidence of an assault was reported, and no arrests were made concerning her injuries.

Richards, known for her role in “Wild Things,” is embroiled in a contentious divorce with Aaron Phypers, who filed for separation in July. The couple’s dispute has brought to light allegations of domestic violence, with Richards providing photos of a black eye she claims was inflicted by Phypers. She has obtained a protective restraining order against him, citing incidents of physical and emotional abuse throughout their relationship.

In court documents, Richards detailed traumatic events, including being violently choked, hit, and threatened. She also accused Phypers of hacking her electronic devices and downloading her private messages.

Earlier this month, Phypers called law enforcement after Richards allegedly showed up unannounced at his family’s home, demanding his parents leave. During the police visit, Phypers expressed fears for his parents’ safety, claiming Richards pounded on the door and caused a scene.

Richards’ allegations have been denied by Phypers, who accused her of having an affair with Rudy Reyes, a coach on her reality show, and of Vicodin addiction. The actress filed for divorce after nearly six years of marriage, sharing three children—Sami, Lola, and Eloise—with her ex-husband Charlie Sheen, whom she divorced years earlier.
