Actor Brad Pitt is grieving the passing of his mother, Jane Etta Pitt, who was 84 years old.

She expressed that while they weren’t ready to say goodbye, knowing her mother is now free to sing, dance, and paint again brings some comfort. In her tribute, Sydney reflected on her grandmother’s strength, kindness, and faith, highlighting how she encouraged her grandchildren to embrace joy and fairness. She recounted special traditions, like giving each grandchild a day to do whatever they wanted before school, including banana splits for breakfast, playing games, riding rides at Silver Dollar City, and family dinners.

Sydney shared that her grandmother was remarkable in balancing love and energy, keeping up with all 14 grandchildren and showering them with unconditional love.
