Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Reveals Prison’s ‘Maggot-Infested’ and Expired Food

Sean “Diddy” Combs Claims Poor Prison Conditions Amid Bail Request

Sean “Diddy” Combs has filed a new petition for bail, alleging inhumane conditions at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, described the facility as “inhumane” and highlighted issues with the food quality, referencing photographs showing maggot-infested meals. Agnifilo asserted that such conditions and frequent lockdowns constitute “exceptional circumstances” justifying his client’s release.

Combs, incarcerated since his September 2024 arrest on serious charges, faces current ongoing legal proceedings. Although his initial request for bail was denied prior to his conviction, Agnifilo argues that Combs is not a flight risk or danger to others. The lawyer emphasizes that Combs has shown respect for the justice system and seeks to begin rebuilding his life, focusing on reconnecting with his children.

Combs’ prison experience has reportedly been difficult, particularly due to the poor quality of food, which he describes as “roughest” and “routinely” infested with maggots. Despite these conditions, Agnifilo maintains that his client is not a risk of flight and points out his respectful behavior during incarceration.

The singer, convicted in July of transporting individuals for prostitution (but acquitted of more serious charges), faces up to 20 years in prison. He is scheduled for sentencing in October. His legal team is requesting that the judge reconsider the bail denial, especially in light of the “exceptional circumstances” he claims to face in detention.

Interestingly, during Combs’ time in detention, headlines have also highlighted the facility’s holiday menus, including meals served on the Fourth of July, such as hamburgers and hot dogs.

Meanwhile, there are reports that former President Donald Trump is “seriously considering” pardoning Combs, although official confirmation remains pending.
