Chelsea Nears £65m from Player Sales as Three Players Close to Moves within Premier League
Multiple transfer developments have unfolded for Chelsea, who are on track to generate approximately £65 million from player sales. Among those nearing exits are Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Lesley Ugochukwu, and Armando Broja, with each set to join other Premier League clubs.
Everton is in advanced negotiations with Chelsea over Dewsbury-Hall, with a transfer fee initially valued at £25 million plus potential additional bonuses. The 26-year-old midfielder joined Chelsea from Leicester City last year for £30 million and has already made a couple of league starts this season.
Meanwhile, Ugochukwu, 21, and Broja, 23, are expected to sign for Burnley, who recently achieved promotion to the Premier League. The transfer fees for both players are estimated at around £20 million each, and they are reported to have agreed five-year contracts with the Clarets.
Chelsea continues to work on other potential departures, including the possibility of Carney Chukwuemeka returning to Borussia Dortmund, where he spent part of last season on loan. Additionally, teams like RB Leipzig have shown interest in Tyrique George, and Sunderland is close to finalizing a loan deal for 19-year-old Marc Guiu, pending any last-minute changes.
Following a three-week break after the Club World Cup, Chelsea players have resumed pre-season training at Cobham. Some players, such as Raheem Sterling and Ben Chilwell, are working separately as the club seeks new teams for those considered surplus to requirements.
