Greene Slams GOP: Turns Back on America First

Marjorie Taylor Greene Expresses Discontent with the Republican Party

Far-right Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has publicly voiced her disappointment with the current state of the Republican Party, accusing it of abandoning its traditional “America First” principles and reverting to a more establishment, “neocon” approach.

While she praised former President Trump’s tenure in office, Greene indicated a growing disconnect between party leaders and the grassroots base, questioning whether she still feels aligned with the party or if it has left her behind. She criticized the Republicans for turning away from supporting American workers and ordinary citizens.

Recently, Greene has also been publicly critical of Trump’s foreign policy decisions, including U.S. strikes on Iran, the shift toward aiding Ukraine, and Israel’s conflict in Gaza, which she has labeled a “genocide.” Despite her outspoken stance, Greene maintains she remains a staunch Trump supporter and does not see a break between them.

She also blamed a “good old boys” network within Congress for undermining Trump’s agenda. Greene expressed confidence in her position, asserting she isn’t intimidated by House Speaker Mike Johnson and previously challenged his leadership last year after he supported aid to Ukraine.

Greene also accused party leadership of neglecting women’s representation, citing Elise Stefanik as a notable example, who was once nominated for a U.N. ambassador role but later rescinded amid concerns over House Republican support. Greene expressed frustration with how Stefanik and others have been treated, implying favoritism and backstabbing within the party.

Additionally, Greene criticized the GOP for not fulfilling promises on fiscal issues and reducing government costs, lamenting the party’s current direction. She concluded by saying she is disillusioned with the Republican Party’s trajectory and feels disconnected from its future.
