Illegal Immigrant Snatches Chinese Sex Slave; Deportation Canceled Under Biden Admin
Illegal Honduran Migrant with Canceled Deportation Order Arrested for Kidnapping and Assault in Texas
A 22-year-old man from Honduras, who was seen in a disturbing video dragging a woman in Texas and had his deportation canceled under the current administration, was recently apprehended by authorities. Known as Jose Carcamo, he was accused of holding a Chinese woman hostage for five days at a Houston mobile home, where she was sexually assaulted and physically abused.
Carcamo unlawfully crossed into the U.S. from Mexico on November 24, 2020. Despite his immigration case being dismissed by the Biden administration, authorities confirmed he was still in the country. An immigration judge officially canceled his removal proceedings in September 2023, allowing him to remain stateside.
According to law enforcement, Carcamo transported the woman from New York, promising her a better-paying masseuse job in Houston. She was coerced into captivity after her passports were confiscated. During her ordeal, she was tied up, beaten, and assaulted multiple times, even after she attempted to escape by running down the street. A neighbor’s call prompted police to intervene, discovering her locked inside a closet in the trailer.
The victim recounted that her captors moved her from New York to Texas and forced her into servitude, taking her passport and locking her away. Authorities believe she was targeted as part of a larger trafficking operation.
Law enforcement responded based on the witness account and found her in a traumatized state. Investigators suspect there are additional people involved in the trafficking ring. Carcamo was charged with aggravated kidnapping and remains in custody, with immigration authorities lodging a detainer to prevent his release.
Law enforcement officials emphasized that cases like this highlight ongoing concerns over illegal immigration and trafficking, urging the public to stay vigilant. The suspect continues to deny the allegations, asserting his innocence.
