CIA Director Teases More Files Linking Russiagate to Hillary Clinton

Declassified Evidence Suggests Political Plotting Behind 2016 Russia Investigation

The current CIA Director has indicated plans to reveal more classified information that allegedly links Hillary Clinton to false claims about Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. These disclosures, referencing intelligence cited in the Durham report, are in the process of declassification.

He stated that forthcoming releases will shed light on the intelligence that supports claims of a political conspiracy, involving both Clinton and the FBI, aimed at amplifying false allegations of Russian collusion. This assertion is based on intercepted communications suggesting that a plan was devised to falsely accuse Donald Trump of collusion with Russia, with funding from Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee.

The dossier at the heart of the controversy, compiled by former spy Christopher Steele, was financed by Clinton’s team and the DNC during the 2016 campaign. Investigations, including the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane probe, reviewed Steele’s work, which has since been largely discredited. Former Special Counsel John Durham criticized the FBI’s handling of these investigations in a 2023 report, emphasizing that the rush to pin collusion on Trump was driven by deliberate conspiracy.

Declassified evidence suggests that Russian officials discussed a plan from Hillary Clinton’s team to falsely associate Trump with Russia, aiming to damage his campaign. The CIA director revealed he examined notes from former CIA Chief John Brennan that outline this intelligence. He expressed confidence that key figures from the Obama era conspired against Trump and continue to deny wrongful actions.

Meanwhile, political figures like Tulsi Gabbard have released additional classified documents, indicating that top intelligence officials had evidence disproving allegations that Russia manipulated the 2016 voting systems to sway the election outcome. The Justice Department has established a special “strike force” to review referrals related to these findings.
