MJF Celebrates Adam Sandler and “Happy Gilmore 2”
In recent remarks, AEW star Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) expressed his admiration for actor Adam Sandler, especially praising his role in the upcoming sequel to Happy Gilmore. MJF, who portrays Sandler’s son in the new film, shared that working alongside Sandler was a dream come true and described him as being “like a father” to him.
Sander’s comments about MJF were equally warm; he praised the wrestler’s performance in the movie, which added to the mutual respect between the two. MJF revealed that hearing such praise from his cinematic “father” excites him, highlighting how much he values this collaboration.
Reflecting on his career beyond wrestling, MJF noted his eagerness to pursue acting seriously, indicating he’s treating his film endeavors with the same dedication as his wrestling. His previous roles include a part in Iron Claw in 2023, and he hinted that appearances in other movies may be on the horizon.
“I’m taking acting as seriously as I do wrestling, and I’m very passionate about it,” he stated. When asked about his potential future in AEW’s wrestling storyline, specifically regarding a title shot against Adam Page, MJF remained tight-lipped, though he confidentally stated he could beat Page anytime without needing to cash in his contract.
