Woman Assaulted and Raped at Knifepoint in Queens Apartment
A woman was attacked and raped at knifepoint by an unidentified stranger in her Queens residence early Saturday morning. Responding to a call about an ongoing assault around 4:30 a.m., police arrived at a building near 148th Street and 94th Avenue in Jamaica and discovered the victim. She reported that her attacker had entered her apartment, knocked on her door, assaulted her by grabbing her neck, and then pulled her into a bedroom where he forcibly raped her.
The victim was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens and is currently in stable condition. Investigators have not made any arrests as of now.
