Kelly Osbourne has been openly mourning the loss of her father, legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne. She shared a heartfelt tribute on her social media, reflecting on memories with her dad.
On her Instagram Stories, Kelly posted a video clip from Ozzy’s series “Jack & Ozzy’s World Detour,” capturing a memorable moment between them. The caption read, “One of the best Ozzy moments ever,” alongside a touching video where she and Ozzy shared a sweet sing-along to George Ezra’s song “Paradise.”
In the clip, Kelly told her dad, “Morning, I got this song in my head I need to play for you,” as he entered her motorhome. She then played the song, prompting both to sing and dance together. Kelly expressed her love, saying, “I love you,” to which Ozzy replied, “I love you more.”
Kelly, 40, also shared her emotional state, revealing her sadness with a post: “I feel unhappy I am so sad,” accompanied by a broken heart emoji and the words “I lost the best friend I ever had.”
She further expressed her grief in a tribute posted on Thursday: “I feel unhappy I am so sad,” alongside lyrics from Black Sabbath’s song “Changes,” which she and Ozzy released as a duet in 2003.
Ozzy Osbourne, the iconic frontman of Black Sabbath, passed away on July 22 at age 76, after a long struggle with Parkinson’s disease. He was surrounded by loved ones at the time of his death.
His family issued a joint statement confirming his passing, noting he was “surrounded by love.” They requested privacy during this time. Ozzy’s death followed weeks after his final performance during Black Sabbath’s farewell concert.
