Zac Brown Reveals He’s Going Into Debt for Vegas Residency
Zac Brown Invests in Vegas Residency Amid Personal Milestones
Country artist Zac Brown revealed he is incurring significant expenses to bring his upcoming residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas to life, even admitting he’s “going into debt” to make it happen.
He aims to elevate his career to the same legendary status as bands like the Grateful Dead and the Rolling Stones, saying, “This is our statement to try to step into that.” His four-show run begins on December 5, coinciding with the release of their new album, “Love & Fear.”
Brown expressed a desire for fans to experience a wide spectrum of emotions during his performances, emphasizing resilience amidst challenges. “There’s always forces trying to distract you, but you just have to keep pushing forward,” he stated.
He also shared his vision for the shows, aiming to evoke a sense of wonder and surprise, incorporating unexpected covers and dynamic visuals. “Unpredictability is a big part of our live shows,” he teased. Currently, he’s finalizing the story behind the production, editing audio, and assembling video content.
Ahead of the performances, Brown hopes fans will feel “every emotion you can contain” and leave in awe of the band’s creative effort. “I want them to feel wonder and amazement at what we’ve crafted,” he added.
Brown also opened up about his personal journey, reflecting on the importance of sharing his vulnerabilities. “I’m revealing a lot of personal things I’ve never shared before,” he said. “Hard times make us better in some way.”
The residency news follows his recent engagement to jewelry designer Kendra Scott, with whom he publicly announced their relationship in April after attending the American Music Awards together. The couple conveyed their happiness, stating, “We are so grateful to have found each other.”
