Justin Bieber & Scooter Braun’s Multi-Million Dollar Debt Settlement Terms Revealed

Justin Bieber’s $31.5 Million Debt and Financial Struggles

Justin Bieber facing financial difficulties

Justin Bieber has reportedly relied on his wife Hailey’s income to settle a significant debt of $31.5 million. According to insider sources, Bieber was permitted to delay payments as part of a settlement agreement finalized in May, which allows him to defer repayment until his wife completes a billion-dollar contract with Rhode and elf Beauty.

Sources close to TMZ detail that Bieber’s debts include $26 million paid via Hybe to AEG, following the cancellation of his Justice tour, and an $11 million commission owed to Scooter Braun. Additionally, Bieber owed his former manager $8 million in other commissions, but Braun waived this amount. In total, Bieber is only required to pay approximately $31.5 million, covering the $26 million debt and half of the $11 million in royalties.

According to TMZ, Bieber has limited personal funds to clear these debts, and his income mainly depends on deals such as his partnership with Rhode and elf Beauty. It is estimated he might earn around $50 million from various ventures, enough to cover his outstanding debts.

In addition to resolving his debts, Bieber regained ownership of many of his hit songs, which was a significant benefit of his recent financial arrangements. Scooter Braun publicly stated that Bieber is working to prove he can manage his career independently now that he is an adult.

Previously, Bieber sold rights to 300 songs to Hipgnosis Songs Capital for $200 million amid financial difficulties caused by health issues and the cancellation of his Justice tour. Despite having substantial earnings, he has faced criticism for spending heavily on real estate, private planes, and luxury travel, and for paying high salaries to managers and legal teams.
