Taylor Swift has been pulled into the ongoing feud between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively following a recent court development. Baldoni’s subpoena to Swift was dismissed after a judge permitted access to communications between Swift and Lively related to the 2024 film “It Ends With Us,” based on Colleen Hoover’s novel.

US District Judge Lewis Liman stated that requests for messages between Swift and Lively are relevant for determining the harassment and retaliation claims against Baldoni. The messages may concern the film or Baldoni’s legal battles, including a lawsuit Lively filed last December over alleged harassment and career sabotage.

Lively’s legal team attempted to block Baldoni from obtaining her private messages, arguing they were irrelevant to the case. However, the court ruled that the messages could shed light on the ongoing dispute and associated claims.

Baldoni’s attorney revealed that he was invited into the home of Lively and Ryan Reynolds, where discussions about script rewrites took place, allegedly involving influential friends acting as protections for Swift and Reynolds. The legal back-and-forth includes claims that Baldoni used personal connections with Swift and Reynolds to influence film production and legal actions.

In addition to the court disputes, Swift was briefly subpoenaed as a witness in the case, although the request was later withdrawn. The conflict has reportedly caused a rift, with insiders claiming Swift remains extremely upset about being drawn into the legal drama involving Lively and Baldoni.

As the battle continues, Swift and Lively’s representatives have not commented publicly on the latest rulings.
