Brock Davies Addresses His Affair During Scheana Shay’s Pregnancy

Brock Davies has publicly acknowledged having an extramarital affair while his wife, Scheana Shay, was pregnant. During an episode of Shay’s “Scheananigans” podcast, Davies revealed that the affair was purely sexual, with no emotional connection or dating involved. He admitted to meeting up with the woman and having sex multiple times over a three-week period, but chose to stop because he felt guilty and ashamed of his actions.

Davies explained that he stopped “cheating” after feeling horrible about it, recognizing that his behavior was wrong. He reflected on his past, sharing that he had grown up facing instability, attending 15 different schools, which contributed to his focus on achievements and his tendency to detach from emotions. He acknowledged that these traits affected his roles as a father and husband and that therapy has helped him understand his behavior better.

He also expressed remorse for his actions, calling himself an “absolute coward” for cheating and admitting he was selfish. Since then, he has committed to making genuine changes, emphasizing the importance of honesty in his marriage. Despite the betrayal, Shay opted to stay with Davies, working through their issues and prioritizing their family life. She has publicly shared her journey of forgiveness, saying her decision to remain with him stems from her desire to protect their daughter and preserve their family unity.

Shay detailed in her memoir, “My Good Side,” that she kept her husband’s affair secret for years to avoid overshadowing her friend Ariana Madix’s own recent scandal. She recounted feeling shocked and sick when Davies confessed to cheating on her during the pandemic, while she was pregnant with their daughter Summer. He explained that fear of becoming a father again and feelings of unworthiness drove his decision to cheat at that time.

Davies shared that he is actively working on himself through therapy, aiming to be a better partner and father. He expressed pride in his wife’s strength for sharing their story and apologized for being part of her narrative. The couple married in secret in 2022 and had a larger celebration in Mexico the following year.
