Tragic Alabama Boat Crash: Young Mom’s Shocking Fall, Leaving Husband & 4 Kids Heartbroken!

A family in Alabama is mourning after a tragic boat collision resulted in the death of 27-year-old Brittney Sherman. The incident occurred on June 15 in Bayou Sara near Saraland, Mobile County, where Brittney was boating with her husband, Cody, and their four children.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) reported that two boats, a 20-foot Avid Center Console linked to the family and a 26-foot Regulator Center Console, collided around 5:50 p.m. The force of the crash caused Brittney to be thrown into the water, where she subsequently disappeared.

Emergency teams responded quickly, but search efforts were hindered by the bayou’s murky waters, making it difficult to locate her. On the following Monday morning, rescue teams resumed the search and recovered her body approximately 100 yards from where she initially entered the water.

Two other individuals aboard the Avid vessel sustained injuries: Cody Sherman was transported to USA Health University Hospital, and a 4-year-old child was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Fortunately, the operators of both boats involved in the collision were not injured.
