Emily Simpson Criticizes Gretchen Rossi’s Fashion Sense

During a recent interview, Emily Simpson, a fellow cast member of the show, shared her opinions on Gretchen Rossi’s fashion style. Simpson, 49, described Rossi, 46, as someone whose outfits often resemble costumes rather than everyday wear. She specifically pointed out an ensemble that reminded her of the 1970s TV series Little House on the Prairie, joking that Rossi looked ready to hop into a covered wagon during an argument on set.

Simpson added that Rossi’s creative wardrobe choices persisted even during her return to the show as a “friend of” the cast after a 12-year break. She referenced a look that combined elements of Hamburglar and Sherlock Holmes, calling Rossi’s style “creative” in a teasing, lighthearted tone. Simpson emphasized that her comments are all in good fun and part of their playful dynamic.

Despite criticizing Rossi’s fashion choices, Simpson expressed admiration for her signature platinum blond hair, noting that Rossi’s hair looks healthy and is consistently well-maintained—an indication she likely colors it weekly to avoid visible regrowth.

Simpson further joked that Rossi’s hair appears like a helmet or Lego piece that remains stiff and unmoving throughout the day. Nevertheless, she admits that Rossi’s hair still looks good.

Meanwhile, Tamra Judge, a long-standing cast member and Rossi’s critic, considers Rossi’s fashion and beauty choices outdated, describing both as “really bad” during a recent interview.
