It was a historic 10-hour event at Villa Park Stadium, featuring performances by Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Jack Black, and more, hosted by Jason Momoa. Ozzy had announced in February that he would retire from touring due to declining health, after battling Parkinson’s disease and undergoing extensive spinal surgery in 2022.

In a statement, his wife Sharon Osbourne and children Louis (50), Aimee (41), Kelly (40), and Jack (39), expressed their grief, saying, “Our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away surrounded by love. We ask for privacy during this difficult time.” The family did not disclose additional details about his death.
