During the celebration of 50 years of “Saturday Night Live” at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, comedian Fred Armisen caused quite a stir. He stepped out of his greenroom unnoticed, and his handlers began frantically searching for him, according to insiders.

Fortunately, he was later found chatting with enthusiastic fans who had waited hours in line. Once identified, the handlers guided him back to his designated area until the event commenced.

He delivered a 40-minute musical comedy set, celebrating “SNL’s” musical moments from over five decades, including sketches on musicians’ behaviors, quirky dancing, and early show exit tips. He even showcased his drumming skills, illustrating punk rock styles spanning three decades, alongside some of his comedic tunes like “Fist Fight In The Parking Lot” and “Catalina Breeze.”

He also demonstrated drumming styles of punk rock from the last three decades and performed his popular comedy songs. The event, highly anticipated, took two years to develop, involving the Rock Hall, Broadway Video, NBC, and “SNL” creators.

With additional insights, Questlove directed a documentary titled “Ladies & Gentlemen… 50 Years of SNL Music,” featuring interviews with icons like Miley Cyrus, Paul Simon, Mick Jagger, and others, celebrating the musical legacy of “SNL.”
