Ric Flair Declares Victory: Cancer-Free After Melanoma Fight
Ric Flair Declares He Is Cancer-Free After Melanoma Treatment
I’m Cancer Free… WOOOOOOO!!!
Legendary wrestler Ric Flair has announced that he has successfully completed treatment for melanoma, overcoming skin cancer once again. The 76-year-old shared the good news on social media, posting a photo taken at a medical facility. In the image, Flair is seen with bandages on his left arm and above his left eye, indicating the areas of treatment.
Expressing his gratitude, Flair thanked his medical team at the Academic Alliance in Dermatology for their support during his second battle with skin cancer in three years. He ended his message with his signature “WOOOOO” catchphrase.
Flair first disclosed his diagnosis in June, shortly after canceling a meet-and-greet in Mississippi due to health concerns. He emphasized that melanoma is “nothing to play with,” highlighting the seriousness of the condition.
Reflecting on his health journey, Flair admitted to having neglected his health in the past, stating, “I have health issues that I need to attend to. As I have procrastinated putting my health first in the past.”
Throughout his life, Flair has faced various health challenges. In 2017, he nearly died from multiple organ failures, and in 2023, he underwent heart surgery, which included the placement of a pacemaker.
Fans look forward to seeing the “Nature Boy” back to his iconic self, stylish and ready to entertain once again.
