Prince George Turns 12

Prince George celebrated his 12th birthday with a new photo shared by his parents, Kate Middleton and Prince William. The image shows George outdoors, wearing a button-down shirt and brown vest, and bears a strong resemblance to his father.

The couple posted a caption on social media, wishing their son a happy birthday along with a cheerful photo of him. Additionally, they shared a charming video of George playing with his younger siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, accompanied by a heartfelt message.

George was born in July 2013. Middleton described her birth experience as “extraordinary” and “amazing,” noting that she felt it was also a “blur” due to the intensity of the day. She recalled it was a hot day with thunderstorms, which affected her sleep, but her newborn was described as “very sweet.”

Middleton and William welcomed Charlotte in May 2015 and Louis in April 2018. Middleton has spoken publicly about her labour, calling it “amazing” but ultimately a “blur,” especially after revealing her battle with cancer in 2024. Despite her diagnosis requiring chemotherapy and surgery, she has since recovered and resumed her public appearances.

Recent photos show George with his family at Wimbledon and other outings, reflecting his growing presence in royal life. Middleton, after stepping back from royal duties for abdominal surgery earlier this year, continues to be active publicly, sharing moments with her children at major events and everyday moments alike.
