Kelly Osbourne Addresses Rumors About Her Father Ozzy Osbourne’s Health
Kelly Osbourne has responded to circulating claims about her father Ozzy Osbourne’s health, clarifying that he is not nearing death. She took to Instagram Stories to address the misinformation and shared her perspective on her father’s condition.
In the video, Kelly explained that recent social media posts featured an AI-generated video claiming her father made a distressing statement about his mortality, which she confirmed was not true. Kelly emphasized, “He’s not dying. Yes, he has Parkinson’s disease, and his mobility is noticeably different, but he’s very much alive.”
Kelly also addressed the previous rumors concerning a supposed suicide pact between Ozzy and her mother, Sharon Osbourne. She clarified that such stories are false, calling out misconceptions and dismissing sensationalized articles. “Stop making articles or posts about how you think my parents are having a suicide pact. That was bulls— my mom said to get attention one time,” she stated firmly.
She further explained that her family has discussed the concept of assisted dying in the past, but only in context of their fears about aging and illness. Sharon Osbourne previously revealed in her memoir that she and Ozzy considered seeking help from Dignitas if suffering from dementia. The topic was also discussed during a recent family podcast, where Sharon joked about potential suffering.
Ozzy recently announced his upcoming memoir, Last Rites, scheduled for release on October 7, 2025. Despite ongoing rumors, Kelly reassured fans that her father remains in good health and battling his condition with resilience.
Kelly reiterated her stance against false rumors, emphasizing her family’s love and commitment to transparency regarding Ozzy’s health.
