Two men were injured in a stabbing incident early Wednesday morning on a train passing through Grand Central, according to authorities.
The victims, aged 28 and 38, sustained stab wounds to the abdomen, with the older man also injured in the buttocks while on a southbound 5 train at 42nd Street-Grand Central station around 7:20 a.m., police confirmed.
The incident started from a verbal dispute, though details about the nature of the altercation remain unclear. Authorities have yet to determine if the victims knew their attacker.
Both men were transported to Bellevue Hospital and are reported to be in stable condition.
The assailant fled the scene immediately, and police have not apprehended the suspect at this time.
