How Much Will Barcelona Pay Rashford? Man United Outcast Nears Old Trafford Exit

Details of Marcus Rashford’s Salary Contribution from Barcelona as He Nears Exit from Manchester United

Barcelona is set to cover all of Marcus Rashford’s wages during his upcoming loan spell. The English forward is close to completing a season-long loan transfer from Manchester United, with an option for Barcelona to purchase him outright next year.

Rashford, 27, recently spent the latter half of the previous season on loan at Aston Villa after falling out of favor under United’s manager. During his time at Villa, he made 17 appearances, scoring four goals and providing six assists. His current United contract extends until the summer of 2028.

The deal will see Barcelona pay Rashford’s weekly wages of £315,000 in full. The club has already signed other players this summer, including winger Roony Bardghji and goalkeeper Joan Garcia. While there were early links to Nico Williams, the winger chose to sign a new extended contract with Athletic Bilbao.

Rashford has been training separately from Manchester United’s main squad during pre-season and has responded positively to his future move. He has expressed a desire to play alongside Barcelona’s young star Lamine Yamal, stating, “Everybody in the world wants to play with the best. Hopefully. We’ll see.”

Throughout his career at United, Rashford has appeared in 426 matches, scored 138 goals, and provided 77 assists. His trophy cabinet includes two FA Cups, two EFL Cups, and one Europa League title.
