Kelly Osbourne: Ozzy Will Not Die, Despite Online Rumors

Kelly Osbourne Addresses Rumors About Ozzy Osbourne’s Health

Kelly Osbourne has publicly dismissed false reports circulating about her father Ozzy Osbourne’s health. Sharing a video on Instagram Stories, she explained that claims suggesting her father is near death are not true.

She clarified that while Ozzy, 74, has Parkinson’s disease and his mobility has changed, he is not dying. She expressed her frustration at the false AI-generated video that featured a voice resembling her father’s and included disturbing statements about death.

Kelly emphasized, “He’s not dying. Yes, he has Parkinson’s, and yes, his mobility is different, but he’s not close to death. Why spread such false information?”

She also addressed the widely circulated notion of a supposed suicide pact her mother Sharon Osbourne once discussed. Kelly clarified that her mother’s remarks about seeking assisted suicide in Switzerland were taken out of context. Sharon, 72, had spoken about a plan to consider Dignitas if suffering from dementia, a discussion she shared publicly in her memoir and on her family’s podcast.

In a later Instagram Stories clip, Kelly dismissed the suicide pact rumors entirely, stating, “Stop making articles or posts about my parents having a suicide pact. That’s bullshit. My mom said that once for attention, and my dad’s not dying. Stop.”

Ozzy recently announced his upcoming memoir, Last Rites, scheduled for release on October 7, 2025.
