Miranda Lambert & Chris Stapleton Debut Duet “A Song To Sing”
A New Duet Celebrates Classic Country Roots

Country stars Miranda Lambert and Chris Stapleton have teamed up for their first duet, titled “A Song To Sing”. The lively track celebrates enduring love, reminiscent of timeless country collaborations.
Though they have previously collaborated on songs like “What Am I Gonna Do,” from Chris’s 2023 album Higher, fans have long anticipated a full duet from these two influential artists. Their new song, co-written with Jesse Frasure and Jenee Fleenor, harkens back to classic country pairings such as Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers’ “Islands in the Stream,” with a nostalgic yet fresh sound.
The lyrics express a heartfelt connection, emphasizing how music and love intertwine:
“I love the way it goes
When I hear the melody
I’ma find my way back home to you
I know with every note
You and I are meant to be
Sounds so good to meYou are a part of me
Baby, you’re the heart of me
Together we can write a song to sing
And in that melody
Baby, you’re the harmony
That you just can’t find anywhere”
The song’s catchy tune is set to hit country radio on July 14th, and with two such acclaimed artists behind it, a big commercial success is expected.
Both Lambert and Stapleton have accumulated over 14 Grammys, numerous CMA and ACM awards, and have been instrumental in shaping the genre over the past decade. Produced by Dave Cobb, the track combines authentic country roots with a contemporary edge, capturing both nostalgia and relevance.
Fans have long desired a collaboration like this, and Lambert and Stapleton have once again proved why they are instrumental in keeping country music true to its roots while innovating for today’s audience.
