One individual tragically died in the crash within Olympic National Park.

All three individuals were transported to a Level 1 Trauma Center for treatment. Authorities have not publicly identified the victims. The cause of the crash is still under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board.

This incident follows a fatality at the park just over a month earlier. In June, a young man fell from a 50-foot waterfall at Sol Duc Falls while hiking, resulting in his death. Park rangers recovered his body the following day after he slipped on the rocks and was submerged in the water below.

Family and authorities mourn the loss, with his father sharing heartfelt condolences and a call to honor his memory by embracing life fully. The park continues to be a place of both wonder and tragedy, reminding visitors to exercise caution in its rugged terrains.
