Stephanie Shojaee Defends Her Hermès Birkin Collection

Stephanie Shojaee, a new cast member on the latest season of Real Housewives of Miami, is proudly sharing her extensive collection of Hermès Birkin bags. She reveals that she has invested over $1 million into acquiring various versions of the highly coveted handbags, purchasing them gradually over time.

“I am investing!” she states, emphasizing that her collection was built through patient, incremental purchases. Notably, she has never bought a secondhand Birkin, instead forming close relationships with Hermès boutiques worldwide— including stores in Qatar, Dubai, Montreal, Miami, Paris, and Switzerland—to purchase directly from retailers.

Several of her prized Birkins are valued at between $60,000 and $80,000, featuring luxurious details such as diamond-encrusted hardware and exotic crocodile skin. She even owns a bag with diamonds on its hardware, which she keeps strictly to herself, refusing to let anyone touch her collection.

She adds, “I’ve never once bought a secondhand Birkin,” indicating her pride in maintaining direct store relationships to acquire her luxury pieces. Her approach involves building solid connections with Hermès, ensuring her bags come straight from the source rather than resellers.

Stephanie passionately defends her passion, stating she keeps her Birkins under lock and key, allowing no one else to handle them. She dismisses criticism about her spending, asserting that she believes people should spend their money on what they love, comparing her collection to other extravagant pursuits like classic car collections.
