Wendy Williams Celebrates Birthday at Delmonico’s, Looks Better Than Ever Without Scooter
Wendy Williams Celebrates Early Birthday Out with Friends
Wendy Williams marked her 61st birthday with an early dinner at a historic downtown restaurant. She appeared vibrant and healthier than recent years, notably walking without her usual motorized scooter, which she has relied on due to health issues.
The former daytime talk show host was seen carrying a large Chanel bag, looking upbeat and in good spirits. She was accompanied by two of her attorneys and reconnected with her former show producers, Suzanne Bass and Brendan Higgins.
Williams currently resides at the Coterie, a luxury assisted living facility, which she has informally called her “luxury prison” as she campaigns to be released from court-appointed guardianship. She has expressed confidence that her legal team will secure her freedom.
Sources overheard her discussing her eagerness to travel once she regains her independence. Guests noted her radiant appearance and expressed happiness to see her doing well.
Earlier in the evening, Williams dined on seafood towers, caviar, Caesar salad, and filet mignon. Her birthday treat was a baked Alaska served by the restaurant’s co-owner. Witnesses said she became emotional as she blew out her candles, reflecting her current journey toward reclaiming her independence.
She also shared plans of traveling soon and appeared optimistic about her future. Designer Zang Toi was seen nearby, extending birthday wishes as he left the restaurant.
