Astronomer CEO Andy Byron & HR Chief Kristin Cabot Delete LinkedIn After Coldplay Kiss Cam Bite

CEO and HR Chief Depart LinkedIn After Coldplay Concert Incident

Andy Byron, CEO of a tech company and Kristin Cabot, the company’s HR director, have removed their profiles from LinkedIn following a controversial incident at Coldplay’s concert in Boston. The duo’s reactions to being showcased on the “kiss cam” went viral, sparking widespread attention.

A video circulated online showing Byron and Cabot reacting in shock when their images appeared on the big screen during the concert. The band’s frontman, Chris Martin, humorously pointed them out, joking, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy,” as the audience watched them quickly turn away from the camera.

While reacting to being caught, Byron reportedly exclaimed, “F–king hell, it’s me,” with Cabot describing the moment as “awkward.” Martin then quipped, “Hope we didn’t do something bad,” before resuming the show. The incident drew attention to the couple’s relationship status, with later reports identifying Byron and Cabot as a CEO and his company’s director of people, respectively.

The woman who posted the viral clip explained she shared it simply because she found their reactions interesting, unaware of their identities at the time. Byron, who is married, reacted to the attention by saying, “F–king hell, it’s me,” while Cabot appeared to call the moment “awkward.”

Following the incident, Byron and Cabot’s professional profiles disappeared from LinkedIn. It is noted that Cabot is divorced, while Byron is married to Megan Kerrigan Byron. However, Megan recently deleted her social media accounts, and her current relationship status remains uncertain.

The incident has stirred speculation and tabloid interest, though Byron has not publicly addressed the matter. Meanwhile, some false statements impersonating him have circulated online after the viral clip.
