The pair appeared friendly during the outing on the Ritz Carlton’s superyacht, the Luminara, in early July. An insider revealed that Tom Brady requested to sit next to Sofia Vergara during dinner, which fueled speculation.
Sofia later shared a photo on Instagram showing her and Brady sitting together, with singer J Balvin stopping by to kiss Vergara’s forehead. In the image, Vergara is laughing with her eyes closed while Brady smiles at the camera.
Despite the buzz, reports indicated that the two are not dating. They were part of a larger celebrity group on the yacht’s inaugural voyage, which included stars like Martha Stewart, Naomi Campbell, Ricky Martin, Kate Hudson, Nina Dobrev, Shaun White, Kendall Jenner, and Irina Shayk. The two-night trip departed from Rome to Malta with about 400 guests.
Brady has been largely single since his divorce from Gisele Bündchen, with whom he shares two children. He also has a son, Jack, with ex Bridget Moynahan. Vergara, who has a son named Manolo with her former partner Joe Gonzales, has also remained unattached following her breakup from Joe Manganiello earlier this year.
Vergara previously discussed her approach to dating in May, expressing a desire for a partner who is healthy, loving, tall, handsome, and financially compatible—ideally, with as much or more money than she has. Her priority is to find someone fun and enjoyable to be with.
