During a recent performance in Boston, lead singer Chris Martin was visibly distressed after footage surfaced showing Astronomer CEO Andy Byron appearing to cheat with his HR chief, Kristin Cabot, on a kiss cam segment. Martin expressed his shock on stage, saying, “I hope we didn’t do something bad…” as the incident unfolded in front of the audience.

Capturing the moment, social media users circulated a clip where the couple was seen swaying and holding hands while the kiss cam panned over them. Byron and Cabot quickly reacted, with Cabot covering her face and Byron ducking out of view, clearly uncomfortable. Martin commented, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy,” eliciting gasps and cheers from the crowd.

The viral video prompted immediate attention online. Byron’s wife, Megan Kerrigan Byron, responded by deleting her social media account shortly after the footage went public, fueling speculation about the affair. She also removed her surname from her profile before taking it down entirely.

It was later revealed that Byron became CEO of his company in July 2023, with Cabot joining as chief human resources officer in November 2024. However, posts about her new role have since been deleted from her social media presence.
