Sophia Hutchins’ Cause of D:ea:th Revealed After Malibu ATV Crash

Cause of Death Confirmed for Sophia Hutchins

Sophia Hutchins, a close friend and former manager of Caitlyn Jenner, died from blunt force injuries two weeks after her fatal ATV accident in California. Her death was officially classified as an accident.

The 29-year-old was riding near Jenner’s Malibu home on July 2 when she collided with the bumper of a moving vehicle, causing her to be thrown off the road and down a 350-foot ravine. Emergency responders declared her dead at the scene, and no other individuals were injured in the crash.

Authorities believe Hutchins may have been speeding when the accident occurred. It is suspected she rear-ended a parked gray Mazda 6, which was carrying two women, and then veered off the cliff. Videos from the scene show the wreckage of her ATV beside the upside-down vehicle.

Police reports suggest Hutchins was trying to maneuver around the car but was going too fast, leading to the collision and subsequent fall. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department noted speed as a contributing factor in the incident.

Footage captured in the aftermath displays a blue ATV next to the overturned car at the crash site. Hutchins was present at the scene when authorities arrived, according to reports.

Hutchins had a close relationship with Jenner, met in 2015 following Jenner’s transition, and appeared on her reality series. She was also a former Trump campaign surrogate, supporting the former president in 2024 and making various media appearances.

Two years before her death, Hutchins moved in with Jenner, who was 46 years her senior, and served as her manager. This partnership often sparked rumors about their relationship, which they publicly denied. Hutchins was set to be buried at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Los Angeles on July 24.
