Rob Kardashian Opens Up About Why He Stepped Back from the Spotlight

Rob Kardashian Discusses His Privacy and Farewell to Reality TV

Rob Kardashian has clarified that he won’t appear on camera unless he feels entirely comfortable. During a candid phone interview with his sister Khloé Kardashian on her podcast, “Khloé in Wonder Land,” he explained his reasons for stepping back from the family’s reality television show.

He revealed, “It’s about my own comfort. I don’t want to be filming and exposing myself when I’m not feeling good in my skin. Being vulnerable on camera isn’t something I want to do right now.” He emphasized that he values his happiness and peace over being on display for entertainment. “Filming isn’t for everyone, and I prioritize my mental well-being,” he added.

Despite his reluctance to participate fully, Rob stated he isn’t opposed to making occasional appearances on “The Kardashians,” especially if he’s in a positive state. “I enjoy spending time with my family, and I’ve made some cameos since stepping away,” he noted. However, he reaffirmed that his decision to stay away is personal and not related to any family disputes, asserting, “There’s nothing wrong between us.”

Rob’s absence from the spotlight began around 2017, when he reduced his appearances on the show and Instagram, choosing instead to focus on his private life and daughter Dream, with his ex Blac Chyna.

He clarified that he’s not against filming altogether, emphasizing that he only participates when it aligns with his well-being. “I love being around my family when I feel good. My happiness comes first,” he said.

While Rob’s feelings about the fame have kept him on the sidelines, his sisters remain hopeful he might return to the show someday. Khloé expressed optimism, noting, “Rob talks about coming back often, and I believe he still might. He’s been through a lot personally but is feeling good about himself now.”
