Diddy Joins Prison Self-Help & Therapy While Awaiting Sentencing

Sean “Diddy” Combs Enrolls in Therapy Programs Amid Legal Proceedings

Currently incarcerated at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center, rapper and producer Sean “Diddy” Combs has opted to participate in self-improvement efforts, including in-prison therapy and specialized programs aimed at addressing behavioral issues.

Among these, he has reportedly joined the STOP Program, a course focused on preventing sexual assault, domestic violence, and dating violence. This effort reflects his attempts to make positive changes during his detention.

In addition to therapy, Combs is also said to be undergoing treatment as part of Dr. Harry K. Wexler’s drug abuse program. He has reportedly been enrolled since before his arrest and continues this path behind bars.

Sources close to the artist emphasize that he is trying to better himself and take steps toward redemption. Despite these efforts, the legal situation remains serious, as Combs faces multiple charges.

On July 2, he was acquitted of the more severe sex trafficking charges, but he was convicted on two counts of prostitution, each carrying a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison. The trial included testimonies from various individuals, including his ex-girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, who accused him of abuse and assault.

Jurors heard disturbing allegations, including claims that Combs forced a male escort to urinate in Ventura’s mouth during a party. Ventura’s testimony added to the serious nature of the allegations against him.

Judge Arun Subramanian ordered Combs to remain behind bars until his sentencing scheduled for October 3. The rapper continues to face numerous lawsuits from men and women alleging sexual misconduct, which he has firmly denied.
